A stripe can be bold or buttoned-up, rebellious or refined. It all comes down to proportion and color (our favorite things). We created Striped Wallpaper to offer a boutique, made-to-order approach to the most essential pattern on the wall. Just stripes. But better.

Do you ship internationally?

We sure do. If you're outside the U.S. or Canada, just reach out and we'll get you a shipping quote. Heads up—any taxes, duties, or import fees are the responsibility of the recipient. We’ll handle the stripes, you handle the borders.

What wallpaper materials do you offer?

We offer two high-quality options: Traditional Clay Coated Paper and Premium Peel & Stick Textile. Both are printed to order with care in our California atelier, and both meet Class A fire ratings—because safety shouldn’t be negotiable.

Traditional Paper

Our classic choice: non-pasted, smooth, matte, clay coated and effortlessly elegant.

We’ll say it: most peel & stick wallpaper is a nightmare. Ours isn’t.

    E84 Class A
  • 27" wide and printed to your needed length
  • Removable, repositionable, and installation-friendly
  • Costs a bit more—but saves a ton in labor and headache

Why does your wallpaper come untrimmed?

Because good installers love a little wiggle room. Untrimmed wallpaper gives professionals more control when matching seams and allows for adjustments on less-than-perfect walls (which, let’s be honest, is most of them). We also use that extra margin to print discreet join markers, so it’s clear exactly how the pattern should line up. Bonus: the selvage helps protect your wallpaper during shipping—because bent edges are never in style.

Can I install this myself or do I need a pro?


If you're handy, patient, and not afraid of a smoothing brush, you can install it yourself—especially our peel & stick option. But if you're working with our classic clay-coated paper, or you're installing in a space that demands precision (hello, powder room corners), we strongly recommend hiring a professional. A skilled installer will make your stripes look flawless—and help you avoid a crooked heartbreak. Trust us: a clean install is worth it.

What size are your rolls?

Our "rolls" are printed as panels. The substrates are 30" wide, 27" trimmed, and printed to the length you order.

What makes your wallpaper different?

In short: everything. We’re a boutique studio focused exclusively on striped wallpaper—designed, printed, and trimmed by humans (not robots) in our California atelier. Our wallpapers are made to order, not mass-produced, which means you get custom color options, high-end materials, and thoughtful craftsmanship with every roll. We obsess over scale, proportion, and color because we know stripes aren’t just filler—they’re foundation. Add in our cheeky attitude, serious design chops, and concierge-level service, and you’ve got wallpaper that’s anything but ordinary.

Is your wallpaper sustainably made?

Yes—all of our wallpapers are printed to order using UL ECOLOGO® and GREENGUARD GOLD® certified inks, which means low VOCs, safer indoor air, and minimal environmental impact. Our entire production process is small-batch, on-demand, and done in-house in California to reduce waste and overproduction.

Our traditional clay-coated paper is FSC-certified and considered a sustainable product—an excellent choice for eco-conscious interiors that value both beauty and responsibility.

Our peel & stick wallpaper is made from a high-performance woven polyester. While not biodegradable, it’s lead-free, phthalate-free, Class A fire rated, and designed for long-term installations where low-impact application and removability are essential—like rentals, commercial spaces, or delicate wall surfaces. It’s our premium alternative to low-cost, high-frustration peel & stick options on the market.

Sampling

Can I order a sample?

Absolutely. Peruse our selection. Maybe you'll select a custom color palette. Once you’ve found a stripe you’re into, just add the sample to your cart and head to checkout. We’ll ship your samples out ASAP and send you tracking info the moment they’re on the move.

What does your color palette product include?

It’s a full printout of our current color offerings—every shade we’ve curated, all on one beautifully organized sheet. Think of it as your cheat sheet for designing custom stripes with confidence. It’s especially handy if you’re trying to match paint, fabric, or just want to see the colors in person before committing.

Ordering

How much wallpaper should I order?

Great question—and the honest answer is: it depends on your space, your pattern, and your tolerance for math-induced headaches. We highly recommend working with a professional wallpaper installer. Not only can they measure accurately (and account for things like windows, doors, and ceiling wonkiness), but they’ll also ensure you order the right amount the first time—saving you time, stress, and extra shipping costs.

If you’re measuring yourself, we provide roll specs and guidance on each product page—but when in doubt, always round up. It’s better to have a little extra (hello wet walls!) than come up short with half a wall to go.

How do I install my wallpaper?

Installation instructions are included with every order—but here’s the short version: our wallpaper ships untrimmed, which means you (or your installer) will need to trim off the selvedge edges before hanging. This gives more control when matching seams and allows for precise alignment using the printed join markers we include.

For paste installations, use a high-quality adhesive and follow standard wallpapering best practices: smooth out bubbles, double-cut seams, and take your time. For peel & stick, make sure your walls are clean, dry, and smooth—then apply slowly, smoothing as you go.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Each roll is made to order, just for you—which means no dusty stock rolls, and yes to fresh, high-quality printing. Production typically takes 1-2 weeks, plus shipping time. Need it sooner? Let us know!

If you're ordering swatches, we usually ship those within a few business days. Either way, you'll get tracking info the moment your order hits the road.

How do I order as a member of your trade program?

Right now, we’re keeping it personal. As we grow, we're working on building a full trade login portal—but for now, trade orders are placed via Purchase Order. Just email us your PO and we’ll take care of the rest, including confirming pricing, shipping, and any custom details.

Fabric & Customization

Can you match my striped wallpaper to my paint?


Sort of. We’ll be honest—exact matches are a myth (different materials, different finishes, different personalities). But we’re pretty darn good at getting close. If you have a specific paint color in mind, shoot us an email with the details. We’ll do our best to create a stripe that plays beautifully with your palette.

Can you make fabric to match my striped wallpaper?

Yes—we absolutely can. While we don’t print fabric in-house (and don’t plan to), we work with trusted partners who do. If you're dreaming of matching stripes across walls, drapes, pillows, or even rugs—we're here for it. Shoot us an email and we’ll help you wrap the whole room in tailored, stripe-forward style.
